How to find balance beetwen social life and student's life:
Finding the balance between social life, work and studies can be a true challenge for students. There is no all-in-one solution, but there are some tips you can stick to.
First one is – setting priorities – this is crucial and absolutely necessary at university. By focusing on priorities you will be able to plan your time effectively. Be sure to prioritize those tasks that are of the highest value to you. Having a To-do List is very helpful.
Next is sleep. If you do not get enough sleep your brain will not function normally. You will become more forgetful and lack of sleep can affect your academic performance in a negative way. For people my age, 6 to 8 hours of sleep is recommended.
And last one is healthy Social Life. To develop healthy personality you need to socialize with others. An active social life gives you a time to relax and have fun, but have this in mind: Too much partying and drinking is wrong too. Remember about moderation.
Good presenter:
when he/sheis prepare (informations found in books),
relax your shoulders,
one thought in time,
imagine that your audience are your old friends
think what audience need,
slow down and relax
take your time
being friendly
Bad presenter:
they don't prepare,
its not about u, its about audience
too fast- paced
stressed, anxious
We choose our lecture Proffessor Zdzisław Szalbierz, who taught us Microeconomics, because he was always open-minded, gave us funny anegdotes (about his grandson for example), he treated us like human beings. If we didn't understand he always repeats what he said in a creative way. He uses a simple language and encouraged us to participate actively in his lectures.

Engineers Harvest Energy From WiFi Signals to Power Small Electronics
Your short summary of the text
In our modern world there are many routers that emit a lot of energy.
To harness under-utilized source of energy, a research team has developed a technology that uses tiny smart devices known as spin-torque oscillators (STOs) to harvest and convert wireless radio frequencies into energy to power small electronics. Using this array, the 2.4 GHz electromagnetic radio waves that WiFi uses was converted into a direct voltage signal, which was then transmitted to a capacitor(kapasitor) to light up a 1.6-volt LED. When the capacitor was charged for five seconds, it was able to light up the same LED for one minute after the wireless power was switched off.
List at least five key words/ phrases/sentences you would like to remember
Our latest result is a step towards turning readily-available 2.4GHz radio waves into a green source of energy
This results in the widespread use of the 2.4GHz radio frequency that WiFi uses, with excess signals available to be tapped for alternative uses
National University of Singapore (NUS) and Japan’s Tohoku University (TU) has developed a technology that uses tiny smart devices known as spin-torque oscillators (STOs)
Spin-torque oscillators are a class of emerging devices that generate microwaves, and have applications in wireless communication systems.
Using this array, the 2.4 GHz electromagnetic radio waves that WiFi uses was converted into a direct voltage signal
Think of four questions to the text
Does it collect a lot of energy?
Will we be able to charge the phone using OTOs?
Is the frequency 2.4GHz popular?
Is it hard to create OTS ?
And now after reading I would like to know more about :/ I would like to know if/ whether/when/ how:
I want to expand my knowledge about renewable sources of energy and new technologies in electronic world. Also wireless technology seems interest for me.
Choose two sentences from the text and write the transformations: ( change the word order, change the word class, use synonyms)
With the rise of the digital age, the amount of WiFi sources to transmit information wirelessly between devices has grown exponentially
With technology development, the numbers of routers to send information wirelessly between electronic devices has increased.
In their study, the researchers had successfully harvested energy using WiFi-band signals to power a light-emitting diode (LED) wirelessly, and without using any battery.
In their study scientists had successfully converted wifi signals to power and make possible to power light-emitting diode (LED) without battery.

element modelling to better predict the internal stresses and strains on the normal forces
multi-material prosthetic socket
How would you explain the main idea of the text to your friend?
So, the main idea of the text is that a student David Sengeh invented a method that allows to produce prosthetic socket cheaply and effectively. For this purpose, he used a 3d printers and advanced devices such as magnetic resonance imager. I think it's huge succes.
How would you explain the main idea of the text to someone who is much older/much younger than you?
A very talented student called David Sengeh invented a new type of prosthetic socket which allow to comfortably wear the prosthesis. Production of this type is cheap and efficient. Thanks to advanced technology and his commitment, he can help other people who had amputation.
How would you explain the main idea using # or as a FB post?
A very talented student - David Sengeh invented a new type of prosthetic socket which allow to comfortably wear the prosthesis. Advenced technology like 3d printers and magnetic resonance imager allow to reduce the cost of production and makes them a perfect fit for the patient.
